  • This is a wonderful children's store!!! Granted, my experience is somewhat limited, not having little ones of my own, but I have a nephew and a niece and lots of children of friends that I feel qualified to give this review. This place is magical. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about their toy and book selection. I just walk in and mention what I'm there for (2 year old girl birthday, 4 year old Christmas, etc) and they take me on a tour of everything they have that fits the bill. With knowledge not only of what sells well but with experience they've had playing with these toys with children. They run the gamut of very pricey toys to very modestly priced toys - whatever you may be looking for, its there. They have a games section that includes puzzles and musical "instruments", a plush toy section, an action figure section, a small but beautifully thought out book section and play areas for the little ones that may be with you. And, on their anniversary, they had cake free for everyone that came in and 10% off all products in store!! Well laid out, environmentally focused with quality wooden and carefully tested plastic items, educational products, beautiful books - did I mention the beautiful books?! - and free gift wrapping to boot. The Toy Space has made my shopping for little ones oh so easy - and fun too! I love that they are local, have toys made in Canada and isn't just another big box store. If you're trying to buy local, visit The Toy Space!!
