  • The vibe: As a local Parkdalian, I was heartbroken to hear that Philistine had moved out of my neighbourhood to the Bellwoods end of Queen West. But once I stepped inside their new location, I couldn't be upset anymore. It looks absolutely amazing and is a lot more spacious. Same wonderful Philistine, more amazing clothes. They have the perfect blend of vintage and new clothes, plus affordable ($10 sunglasses!) accessories and jewellery. The clothes: Vintage and new. Tops, dresses and skirts galore. They do such a wonderful job at curating the shop. Don't come in here unless you want to purchase something, because it'll be impossible not to. So many beautiful things, that it almost hurts. The staff: Super duper nice folks.
