This place was recommended to me by a yelper Tony on the talk section because I was looking for a place to get a haircut in Toronto on Sunday and there are very few places where that's possible. I actually stopped by two other places before here but the time change screwed me over because I got at both places right at closing...i.e. I got to the first one at 4:02 and they close at 4:00. Now in America you'd expect that in a tip-driven industry like barberism they'd make an exception, cut the hair and reap the benefits of a new loyal high-tipping patron. But of course that is not what happened. "We're closed" they said, right in may face.
But SeeFu Hair Studio is open till 8:00pm EVERYDAY. They don't good english speaking, but they can cut hair extremely well. I just wanted a simple men's regular haircut and that's what I got. They guy cutting my hair was a bit too much of a perfectionist for my tastes and I literally had to stop him from making these tiny adjustments. Dude, it's just hair. But it's a decent haircut and at $27 + $5 tip for a men's regular it better be.
Considering hours, location, friendliness, and quality I'll probably make this my regular haircut place despite the price...if for no other reason than to spite the other places that weren't good enough to even service me.
