Went there last night for dinner. Angela G.'s review said it all, but we went anyway. Nice server but service was a bit slow due to the crowd there. The bread basket didn't impress me for an Italian place and the non-stop visits by "Joe", although a nice guy, didn't either. Our order took quite a long time to show up and my food was way overcooked. That piece of veal would have made a good Army boot sole. My friend's spaghetti and meatballs, which they touted as being a kitchen prize, was just so-so and nothing special. Half way through it I had the same feeling many others did. Joe should be in the kitchen and not on the floor working the crowd.
I find it hard to believe he doesn't know what's coming out of that kitchen.
The cannoli shell was hard as a rock and I forgot to bring a chisel with me to be able to crack it. I wanted so badly to like this place but I really didn't.
Would not go back if you dragged me. And, oh yeah, the waitress we loved never brought the doggie box back to us at the end of the meal. No loss there. Really didn't want to see it again the next day anyway.
