I have been to Cobblehaus a few times since it opened in Coraopolis. This brewery is worth the trip from wherever you live in the Pittsburgh area.
During my last visit, I had an amazing Belgium blond and a delicious chocolate stout. These are about the best beers you are going to get in the area! There was a wide variety of beers, mead, wine and arsenal cider. My husband and I go to all the Beers of the Burg events-- so we have had all the local offerings in beer.
On the last visit, my family did trivia (which is on Thursday night). Every seat in the place was taken. We had an amazing time with a competitive game for all the teams. If you want to do trivia, I recommend you get there early (it begins at 7 PM)!
Right before Cobblehaus there is a big clock with the municipal parking lot. Park there are you will be just a few steps from the brewery. If you venture to the back (where the bathrooms are located), you get a special treat (you can see the brewing operations). The owner and his wife are often on hand and are more than willing to tell you all about the beers that are brewed on location!
