| - Randyland is like an unintentional Pittsburgh institution. A landmark that everyone knows and is protective of. This place adds a bright spot to, not only the neighborhood, but to the city itself.
In all the years that I have lived in or near the city of Pittsburgh I have never been here. So shame on me for that, somebody slap me on my wrist. I have known about it, heard about it, had conversations pertaining to it, but never, until now, stepped foot in Randyland.
How to describe this place? It's like stepping into an artistic oasis. Once you step through that gate, you can leave your worries behind, and I can mean that literally as well. It is a welcoming space that could cause sensory overload. Bright colors, amazing displays, items used in ways you wouldn't even think of. I could have honestly spent all day here looking everything over. Every time I turned around, I spotted something different or viewed something in a different perspective.
Definitely a spot worth visiting. Take lots of pictures. Or just sit there and take it all in.
