  • Not on a Sunday afternoon. Hickory Tavern has the potential of being a cool neighborhood bar. But it is not a Sunday afternoon family restaurant. The service was slow and inattentive. The food was mediocre. Everyone was in a days and forgot about why they are there. A good restaurant should seat the patrons as quick as possible, offer friendly fast service, and deliver high-quality food at a reasonable price. According to these criterion Hickory Tavern failed on all counts.
