| - I tried to give this store the benefit of the doubt. I have had some good service experiences here. Unfortunately, the bad times outweigh the good. Today, I walked into the paint department intending to buy a gallon of paint for the porch. I found a gallon in less than two minutes, but needed to get it tinted. This paint can has written, "Product must be tinted before use." Two people, one of whom was some kind of higher ranking manager, proceeded to waste my time for over a half-hour, and still could not sell me a gallon of paint! The product was not in their system, so no colors could be pulled up to tint it with. It baffles me how this could even happen. The product is on the shelf but not in the system! After a while, the manager pulled up a list of highly poetic color names in his computer none of which showed a color patch or example. The manager acted like it was my problem to deal with this foolishness. After over a half-hour of this nonsense, I walked out. Home Depot is across the street. Over there, it took ten minutes, total, from the time I walked in to the time I walked out with the paint that I needed. Other things: You can stand around in front of the deli counter for up to ten minutes or more waiting for someone, anyone, to offer to assist you. When someone does finally come to help you, they look and act like they are absolutely disgusted to be doing this. I have tried fruitlessly to get help with furniture, too. And like most of the Walmarts, they are understaffed, and you can wait a good ten minutes just to check out. This is, by far, the most disappointing and frustrating of the Walmarts I've used.
