This seems to me like a mash up between Granville Island in Vancouver and Chelsea Pier in NY, New York. It's basically a lot of food stands/small little shops in a giant warehouse. Lots of gourmet food, lots of things you might not find in your local supermarket.
I can't say it's terribly different from the other "markets" I've been to.
However, if you get to visit the cheese stands, the buffalo mozzarella (and they get it straight from Italy) is SO GOOD. If you're a cheese aficionado, this is the place to be! They even have sheep's milk ricotta!!!!
As for the seafood. It looks okay. It doesn't look all that fresh, but I guess Toronto isn't exactly a seaside city either.
