  • Wow! The vocal talent we saw in this Baz production at the Palazzo matched or exceeded what we've seen on Broadway. The show was an interesting but odd mashup of Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet, and Gatsby. It's not told as a linear story, more an interwoven set of vignettes. The lighting, dancing, and especially the singing (the three leading ladies most of all!) were top notch. One thing inexplicably missing from this show: Come What May. How do you have a Baz Luhrmann musical show without the greatest anthem from Moulin Rouge??
