rev:text	The food here is decent - no complaints there - but the service was so spotty that I can really only give two stars. Seriously, we waited a good 15 minutes before anyone even came over to bring us water and menus and then at least another 15 or so for the water to come and drink orders to be taken. Our waiter was around during the beginning, though almost everything else was taken care of by other servers. I can handle a slow kitchen from time to time, but it's a lot easier of a pill to swallow if your server is on top of it with drinks and bread to tide you over. There were 7 of us dining at Postrio last week - we started with some apps including the calamari/shrimp, house-made sausage trio and a roasted quail dish that isn't on the online menu. I only sampled the calamari and it was indeed tasty - I especially liked the sauce that came with it. Everyone seemed to like the other selections so that was a bonus. For an entrée I was torn between the rib eye and something more Italian. I don't normally love gnocchi, but the description of the Ricotta Gnocchi sounded so great, I wanted to try it. It was very, very good. The ricotta in the gnocchi gave it a great flavor and texture that I usually don't associate with gnocchi - it was lighter, less dense. Overall really tasty. Again, decent food but definitely sub-par service. With so many great restaurants in Vegas to choose from, I'll definitely give something else a try next time if we're dining at the Venetian.
