I don't eat a lot of shawarma, but Shawarma Max has converted me. Tasty food with quick service in a clean restaurant with friendly services. The restaurant is handy, situated on Yonge between Empress and Sheppard. The parking is a downer, as most of the time you'll find yourself dropping some coins into a street meter, which is worth it, trust me, as the green hornets swarm this part of Yonge looking to hand out tickets. I've been here twice and now I crave the food, especially the hot sauce which has some heat but doesn't overwhelm. Look to pay about $6 for a delicious chicken shawarma, complete with mostly fresh toppings (the lettuce was slightly wilted and a little brown each time I went). I'll definitely be going back.
