  • Walk-up juicing and smoothie place... State their ingredient standards are high (I don't doubt it) and even offer detox juicing packages for several hundred dollars. I'm all for healthy and organic and minimally processed and conscious consumption so I am drawn to businesses like these. I ordered protein smoothie bowl and paid about $13 dollars for a scoop of protein with bananas and lots of stuff I have in my pantry already... The couple in front of me bought a Pack of juices and their bill was something huge. Yikes. The guy was friendly and the smoothie bowl was tasty. They were generous with the walnuts and it was nice to add a scoop of protein. I truly was just curious about the business because otherwise I would never pay this much for a smoothie bowl that I can make with my Vitamix at home As much as I would love to support (financially) this business that's literally in my backyard, i'm not sure I'd be able to. Maybe once in a rare while I could come back again ...that being said, I will always make a smoothie bowl at home or a juice at home because buying it from places like these are not sustainable for me personally.
