| - Fail for me.
Our fave, Thai and Noodle Co is closed on Mondays. I knew of this place and daughter was fixated on kau soi. Which they didn't have so I should have walked out then, but we were there, and we'd both had a long day, we'd just moved the weekend before... Too tired.
They seem nice enough, and the soup is decent, but it was $26+ for a Sweetwater beer ($6), $14 for see-you noodles, and my Tom yum ($4.50)...and we'd had a minute discussion on my also wanting som tum. Back and forth, back and forth...
The space is nice and cool and fun; windows over Forbes. Up the stairs on this toasty afternoon was described as, "the desert," by my 7yo.
Lots of takeout whilst wee were there so your experience will hopefully be better. But there is just too, too much awesome food in that stretch for me to take another chance on this place. Malay, Taiwanese, hand tossed noodles and Chinese, and Szechuan not to far distant.
Bottom line:
* Do we plan on returning? No.
