  • This review is for my last visit to evoke in December/early January 2015. Evoke as a salon should get 5 stars but I was not happy with the service of the staff. As I went in for my appointment, I had to find myself a seat, hang my own jacket and was never offered anything to drink! I did notice other clients with coffee cups and popcorn though! Then Susie just quickly gave me a wash and finished my haircut in less than 30 min!! Even that would have been acceptable if I had got what I wanted!! But instead of giving me a fringe, which I wanted, she cut my bangs too short and they didn't even 'sit' well, my layers too long and my overall hair lacked texture. I did ask her if there's anything else that can be done she just asked me to go back another time! I also wanted her to recommend a volumising shampoo, and she actually asked me to get one for colour treated hair and my hair is not colored!! It must say I left the salon quite unhappy specially for the price I paid and the service I received!
