Location feels dated, and it's in a converted night club club or something, it has no windows, feels like a shady basement somewhere. A lot of the detailing is left over from the 1980s. Sushi bar is cramped and boring, only noise is from the tv showing some random show. Though their servers are friendly and helpful, the chefs are not. I dislike the feel of this place immensely.
Sushi and cooking is very average for above average prices. It's fresh enough, but flavors don't pop, nothing stood out, and a lot of their recipes are dated. And the half rolls on their happy hour menu really don't save you much.
They have Tatami rooms and a small teppanyaki grill area that feels like a fire hazard. Area of town is sketchy, parking lot feels unsafe after dark.
Not going back.
