| - Pomegranate's savory dishes that I've tried have all been amazing. Their sweet dishes, on the other hand, are hit or miss. Their Love the Whales Mac & Cheese bowl is probably the best vegan mac & cheese I've ever tried. The portion size is huge and I split it up to last me three meals. Their raw tostadas were absolutely incredible. Every time I go there I look for this in the raw case, but alas, I've only been able to find it once. Again, a very generous portion. You can easily get leftovers from most of their meals. The quesadilla was also good, and the tofu scramble is all right. Tasty but nothing special.
Their coffees, however, have all been...well, bad. I've tried a latte, a mocha, and the coconut caramel latte. The coconut caramel latte was all right, although definitely not a favorite. The latte and mocha were leaning toward the nasty side. Their pancakes and French toast are a bit dry and not as fluffy as I would hope. The cinnamon rolls, on the other hand, were great. The chai muffin was all right, but cloyingly sweet.
In short, stick with any savory items you find on the menu, and if you're craving sweets or coffee, go to Nami instead.
