  • If I could give Louie, the owner of Desert Landscaping & pools ZERO stars I would. We paid for the service of maintaining our pool, he showed up the first couple of weeks and then stopped showing up for 3 weeks and our pool turned green. We called him multiple times to find out what was going on and finally after awhile, we were able to get ahold of him. He told us he would send someone out (which took a week). The guy came out, put a bunch of chemicals in the pool and we were told it would be good in two days. However, in two days time the pool was still green. We call Louie back and he tells us the reason why our pool was green was NOT because they didn't maintain it, but because the water was too hard and it was old water. He then told us that in order to fix the problem, we needed to drain the pool. So he tells us he'll drain our pool for $1000 after everything but refuses to give us a discount as he stuck to his story of the pool having "old water." That being said, we told him we no longer wanted to work with him due to his NEGLIGENCE to maintain our pool properly. It was clear he wouldn't take ownership for his mistakes and that is a company we don't want to work with. At the end of the day, he clearly didn't know how to fix the problem and wanted to put the blame elsewhere. STEAR CLEAR FROM THIS GUY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. On a good note, we went to Sundevil Pools to test our water and found out that everything Louie said was wrong with it was incorrect. It was confirmed that the chemicals in the pool were off and it was not maintained properly. Highly recommend seeing Tiago at Sundevil Pools in Chandler, as he was able to fix this horrific nightmare in one day.
