First Yelp of 2016!
I have been dying to try Del Frisco's ever since I heard of their Tomahawk. A little disappointed, rating should be between 3.5-4.
Reservation was easy to make. Came in a little early, but they would not seat us until the exact time even though it was pretty empty. Service was pretty on point, always refilled water and cleaned the table.
Parking was free.
Make sure you check out the 007 wine table. Pretty awesome.
The Franc - $45 - Good red wine. One of the cheaper bottles they have on their wine list.
Bread and Butter - Complementary. Bread was light and fluffy. Butter was so soft and creamy.
Steak Tartare - $17 - Nicely seasoned but the meat was cut terribly. There were thick chunks of meat and did not chew well. Had boiled eggs instead of the raw egg.
Sauteed Mushrooms - $11.50 - Cooked well but flavor was just ok.
Lobster Mac & Cheese - $18 - Good cheese sauce. Lobster meat was mixed throughout.
Chateau Potatoes - $12 - Gross - Worst potato dish I have ever had at a steak house. Thick brick of mush.
Tomahawk Wagyu Ribeye - $90 - Seasoning was pretty good. Char was nice. The foot long bone is pretty epic. Asked for medium rare. Some pieces were border line mooing. We had 4 on the table and all were the same. Pretty crappy cooking if 4 medium rares came out super under.
