Convenience vs price--in this case, I feel like the convenience was outweighed by price. I expected higher prices due to the near campus location, but in hindsight I wish I had taken my car to a shop farther away from campus where I know at least one of the repairs is less expensive. Also, they did replace my cabin air filter without asking me--when I picked up the car, the employee said "Your cabin filter was really dirty so we replaced it, I hope you don't mind." It is true that the filter was dirty and I was planning to change the filter, but I didn't appreciate that the shop didn't ask permission. I'm satisfied with the work but I don't think I'll return.
