| - This company is the worst. It's never their fault. Our bills keep on going up. Their service keeps on going down. It's Monday night, April 18, 2016 and, at about 10:40 PM suddenly all the channels froze except for 11, 17, 28, and 60. So, it is obviously not the networks who are at fault, unless... they all conspired to freeze at the exact same time.
So, what do I do? I call the main number: 702. 383.4000. I takes me through all their outgoing electronic voice crap then, confirms my address. I then hit prompt 2 to get me to technical support, only to be put on hold due to a high volume of calls. Really? Our television screens are frozen so duh... like yeah, you're gonna get a lot of calls. Respect us enough to answer them!
Then, I sit on hold for 30 minutes only to suddenly hear the sounds, when you are being connected -- and then, suddenly be dropped -- and heard nothing but a dial tone!!! And, this has happened ever single time I've have ever called into Cox to report a problem. Every freak'n time!!!
Immediately I called back in and, low and behold, this time there was none of the preliminary voice prompt crap to deal with -- this time I just got an outgoing message advising, "Due to high call volume they are unable to take your call and that the callers should call back later, or tomorrow." Really? Seriously? Don't tell me that there isn't a television that's on, at any of the Cox locations, because I wouldn't believe you.
What did Cox do? Take a handful of complaint calls and then decide that all of us who had been on hold for the past 30 minutes are meaningless -- that our time isn't important -- that we deserve to be ignored -- treated crap because, obviously, Cox could care less about us?!
Cox, you have discounted your overcharged customers one too many times and this disgraceful behavior should be repaid. For shame on you Cox Communications! It is now 12:45 AM, Tuesday, and the problem still has not been resolved. I hope the Cox subscribers revolt, cancel, find another internet/cable carrier, as we have many options, who respect their customers a whole hell of a lot better than Cox treats their customers!!!
