  • I love this place and Carole's cheesecake is something I grew up with. Carole is the mother of a childhood friend and so I suppose my parents bought it for me more often than others would have. As a result I grew up loving it. I did have one bad experience though with a cheesecake which had not been properly made and got turned off but came back and BOY am I glad I did. The gluten and totally wheat free cheesecake was divine and the only dessert a guest at a party I was attending could eat. That is a masterstroke on Carole's part as it means people like me who are wheat intolerant can eat a yummy dessert without falling ill. The cheesecake itself is melt-in-the-mouth good and it is just blissfully low in calories too. If that isn't enough, all cheesecake is certified halal (which I know nothing about but might be important to someone). The staff were nice though were weird when I asked to take an interior shot of the cafe. They were helpful though and that's what counts. Fantastic! Go and get some to stay in with or get a frozen one to go. Well worth popping out the Cumberland exit of Bay station for.
