rev:text	We had some leaks in our tile roof. We called several companies for estimates. Weston the owner came out and actually explained that the tile on the roof that we see is just decoration. The real roof is what lies beneath the tile. He showed us how the felt paper underneath is what really protects the home. Our underlayment was dry-rotted, cracked and there were piles of mud all over it. I had no idea how such a beautiful tile roof was in such bad condition. When we started talking price, he explained that the other bids were lower because the other companies were selling a contractor grade "underlayment" he said his price will be more but the difference is night and day!. his system sold me on the spot. I'd rather pay more but get a substantially better roof system. It included something he called "Elevated Batons" these are the sticks that the tile sits on. they allow air to pass below the roof tile so the heat can escape thus keeping our attic cooler in the summer. The underlayment was a peel and stick material which doesn't get nailed down thus eliminating all the penetrations which over time could leak. The guys showed up on the established start date and completed as scheduled. The team worked very hard. They found the sources of the leaks, replaced the decking added new roof vents, replaced the skylight flashings as they are called. The guys kept the property clean during the process and informed me whenever there was a issue I needed to know about. They were always professional and courteous. It's been 6 months and many rains with ZERO leaks and many recommendations to friends. Outstanding job to Weston, Vidal and team!
