rev:text	I was recently married here, so this review is for S&S as an event venue more so than a museum. I cannot say enough good things about S&S. My husband and I were looking for a place in the city that we could get married that would still be interesting BUT not blow our budget. I am SO glad we found Soldiers & Sailors! The building is obviously beautiful, but what really sold me and convinced me that S&S was the right decision was Amber. Amber and her team coordinate all the weddings - and she is the best asset S&S has. I immediately trusted her, and she went above and beyond my expectations on my wedding day. Throughout the wedding process, Amber and her team were great about responding to emails and answering my questions. There was a misunderstanding about the time for the rehearsal dinner, and they went above and beyond to secure staff to stay late and accommodate my group. We had also originally planned to have the ceremony but had to move it inside due to weather - S&S accommodated this seamlessly. On the day of my actual wedding, Amber and Aly did an incredible job of running the entire show without me actually even seeing them at all. I have no idea how they did it! I didn't have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator and was a little uneasy about it, but I was in good hands with Amber and Aly. And of course, the museum is beautiful - our guests raved about it and loved being able to walk around the museum during the wedding. I recommend Soldiers & Sailors to ANY couple looking for a venue and I also just recommend the museum! A great venue with fabulous staff.
