  • Ok, now, this was just plain fun. After two days of trolling the Strip, we trekked downtown and were very glad we did. It was a warm November evening. There were thousands of people around and everyone was happy. The Strip is frenetic, but downtown is just fun. On the Strip, you feel like everyone wants something from you (such as those obnoxious timeshare sellers). But, here, people were friendly just to be friendly. The light show itself is nothing to write home about. But, the Fremont Street Experience includes the whole atmosphere, and that just grand.
