| - This was my second time going to an escape room, and I loved the place.
First off, I disagree with the individuals saying that the price is high. I think its very good compared to all the other escape rooms I've looked at. We paid $35 for two back to back games on a weekday - $17.50 per game. A good chunk of other places charge close to $30 per game. I thought it was a great value. There is a bunch of free parking and it's very close to the bus stop if you're taking transit.
I was very impressed with how much work went into putting together the scenarios from the pre-mission debriefings to actual puzzles themselves. We did the Mayan Temple and the Prison Escape - both were fantastic.
The Mayan Temple is definitely a room to help ease in people new to escape rooms. It involves puzzles that will challenge you, but not so challenging that it would leave you clueless. Some of the elements of the room were a bit worn out; we weren't sure if that was intentional or not because it did make solving the puzzle slightly more challenging. The ambience was fantastic here too, all your senses are engaged, but I won't say how because that's part of the experience.
The Prison Escape was the highlight of our night. Cleverly designed puzzles and just the way the room forced us to work together (as all of them do) made it very memorable.
Let me just say that the sense of satisfaction from completing these rooms is one of the best feelings ever. If you're doing these room escapes for anything, it's for this feeling. Escape Games and their staff made the whole experience comfortable, engaging, and most of all - fun.
If you're looking for an affordable, high quality, and fun escape room to do with your friends or colleagues, I recommend coming here.
