I contacted Goettl to have a rejuvenation done on my ac. My ac has been repaired MANY times and I was told by a previous repair person to prepare myself to purchase a new unit in the next year or so. This was two years ago - the unit is 16 years old, so I consider myself lucky.
Making the appointment was very easy, staff was friendly. There was however no reminder call or text, which I would suggest. My timeframe was 12pm - 4pm. At 3:55 a staff member called to tell me the technician was still in another call. They ended up sending someone else and he arrived close to 5. I'm not going to lie, I was VERY annoyed. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's, so to be sitting around (not at work) for 5 hours - I was not pleased.
However! That's when the experience did a complete 180. I explained to him that i had to be gone by a specific time. He said that it shouldn't be a problem, but if it didn't work for me he would happily come back at any time or day that worked for me. The technician was probably one of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever encountered. He changed my air filter for me! We chatted about what settings the ac should be on for energy efficiency.
Then came the bad news, I'm going to need a new ac unit because of a leak. He didn't try to sell me anything, didn't try and scare me - instead he educated me on what was wrong. I already knew what the issues were, so it wasn't a surprise, but he was kind and patient and answered my questions. I explained that I have a home warranty and he said that I made a great choice with that company and that I should contact immediately before it starts to heat up. He provided all of the information needed in an email so I could contact my home warranty company.
It doesn't really get any easier than that! He was done on time and a few days later I received a case of air filters! How great is that! I would highly recommend using Goettl.
