  • This was my first time ever using a dry cleaner. Last month, I went in and spoke with the gentleman at the counter who assured me that I could get two suit jackets cleaned and ready in two days time for a friend's wedding. I mentioned that I would need to pick them up on the Saturday morning. He said this was no problem and mentioned that, as a first time customer, I get a discount. I think "fantastic". Fast forward to pick-up day. I'm told by a different staff member that my suit jackets are not ready. I inform her that I was told they would be ready by morning. She goes to the back and out comes the gentleman from my original encounter. He yells at me from the back and then storms up towards the front counter. Telling me that I didn't say I needed them for that morning and essentially blaming me for the situation. Now... it is totally fine if you don't agree with me as a customer, but there was no need to raise your voice and talk down to me. I eventually said it was fine and that I would just take the jackets home and be done with it. That's when the other staff member chimes in to say she will do it right now. Again, this was my first time using a dry cleaner so I had no idea how long the whole process would take. I'm told to sit down and after 5-10 mins she comes back with my suit jackets in the plastic bags and rings me up at the cash register. Now it is completely my fault for not checking the state of the suit jackets at this point. Honestly, I just wanted to get the hell out of this place and away from this couple. So I pay and leave. When I got home I removed my jackets from the plastic covers to take a look. To nobody's surprise, the stains were still there and so was the smell. That's when I realized that I just paid over $30 for these folks not to clean my clothes. Thus forcing me to wear a dirty suit to my friend's wedding. I've never had a small business just flat out lie to me like that. Mind you, I'm an idiot for believing 2 suit jackets could be cleaned and ready to go in a matter of minutes. Lesson learned. So if you go through with using this company, I hope you have a better experience than I did.
