  • Quality meat. All their meat is from local Ontario farms. Butchers know what they're doing. Everyone is super helpful. I can ask dumb things like, "which sausage would go better in pasta? which bacon would be better for carbonara if I don't want to splurge on pancetta?" and they always have an answer. They're great for special ordering as well. I needed a barded roast and called in and they were really happy to specially bard a roast for me. It's the little things that are awesome too - like asking if you want your meat vacuum sealed or wrapped, or if you want rosemary or thyme on a roast.
