Funny start to my first time here.
We just walked in the door to see a waiter accidently dump a glass of water down someone's back at a large table. Looked like an entire family was being served and they had their hands full. So, given the place was nearly empty just after 5pm on the weekend I wondered what was going to happen next...
Service was fairly prompt as other patrons filtered in with some choosing general seating with others going to the bar. Had a wonderful fish & chips dinner. small crowd so service was, as expected, on par with expectations. Cod was very good and large...fries were tasty with generous helping and the Red Hen [something] craft was unique given the jalapeno bite at the end of each sip. Apparently it was brewed in Henderson(?)
Staff remained on top of things as well as being polite so good tip was the reward. Plenty of big screens...nice "old world" style decor with a mix of modern flair.
Parking was crowded as they share spots with many other establishments in a typical collage mixed strip mall set up.
Will be back to try a new dish (corned beef or other) for sure. Maybe we'll get to see if they can maintain service and food quality while juggling a larger crowd. I've read some of the 1 and 2 star ratings. Wow. With that in mind I'll update after a second visit.
Edit: Took home leftover cod and fries for part of next nights dinner - very yummy after removing from toaster oven.
