  • I am a winter resident and because I usually get my routine medical care in Iowa I did not have an ophthalmologist contact established when flashes started occurring in my eyes. I did some research on Yelp and Angie's List and called Nevada Eye Care for an appointment. The person I talked to on the phone was very helpful and pointed me to their on-line registration forms that I could complete before going for the appointment. This was quite helpful because many of the questions were about things I don't carry around in my head and had to research before I could answer. As usual I arrived early, but the wait time after my appointment was due was minimal. They gave me a thorough examination and explained what appeared to be causing my situation in terms I could understand. Fortunately, it wasn't an immediate crisis. But they were very professional in explaining what could happen and what should require immediate attention should adverse symptoms occur. Overall, I thought they were very professional and also efficiently accepted me as a new patient.
