  • I have been coming here for over 15 years, Dr shleppe is great. Sadly, he is barely ever there now. The other vet is great as well. The reason for low rating is their pricing, policies, and office staff. I took my dogs in for a booster shot and it was 100$! 26$ per dog just to stick a thermometer up their butt. I feel this price should be about 5$ maybe ten. When I exclaimed about the price the girl at the desk got really nasty and told me it was law to do an exam. Fine but does it have to cost 26$? Also when I mentioned vaccine clinics where they give shots without an exam she rolled her eyes at me. If your dog isn't on heart guard they require you to do a heart worm test that costs 75$!!!! Just really sad I will be switching vets. Another point-a year ago I took my older cat in for a dental and she had 2 teeth pulled. Within a few weeks she was still hurting, took her to another vet and they said she had stomatitis-and needed all teeth pulled as she is allergic to the plaque. We did this and she just never fully recovered. If caring hearts would have just done the dental correctly and gave me the right info I may have been able to save her or give her a few comfortable months. Ok end of rant.
