  • I used that cleaner a couple of times for basic dry cleaning. Job was average, and I had to deal with some apparent wrinkles on my suits on more than one occasions. But because it's next to my building, I decided to stick with them. Recently though, I trusted them for very basic alterations - 3 pants to be shorten - 1 pocket to be stitched - 1 minor stitch on the inner trim of a jacket All three pants were too long. I don't know how they managed to do this, but I have to have the job re-done. On two of the pants, they probably did a mistake that they later tried to correct, since I can see two lines of stitching. It looks weird, and in no way does it appear to be the job of a professional. The day I picked up my clothes, they asked me to pay an extra 11.30$ (10$ + 1.30$ tax) because they forgot to charge me for the stitching. I told the clerk that I was very surprised, since my total bill was already 140$, and that I had assumed that because of the minor nature of the stitching, the employee who received my order had decided not to charge me (on my bill, she had put a price of 0$). I told the clerk today that in any case, it was their mistake, and although I was fine paying, I found it inappropriate to charge me more than the quoted price. She did not seem to care and explained me that this sometimes happens. Finally, I inspected my clothes and found out that the stitching had not been done! I told the clerk that before raising the price, she probably should have checked that the work had been done properly. She did not blink. Did not even apologize. I asked for my money back, and she gave me 10$ in cash. I asked about the tax, and she reluctantly gave me the extra 1.30$. I am shocked by i. the incompetence of this dry cleaner (they could very well have ruined my clothes, and I'm glad they made mistakes on inexpensive garments), ii. the total lack of understanding of what customer service means. As mentioned, I did not even get an apology, and the clerk eventually decided to stop talking to me, even though I was never aggressive and did not lose my temper. I decided to leave since I ended up talking to a vegetable, unwilling to answer my questions. In short: AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. PS: I you're the shop owner and want to make things right, you know where to find me. I came on July 21st around 3.35pm. Although I will not delete this post, I will be happy to update it if there is a follow up to that story
