| - I decided to make my own Thai curry paste and $55 later, I was able to purchase my mortar, buy mainly fresh ingredients and some frozen ones like cilantro roots. I wanted to follow this recipe to the exact contents, so I can get an authentic curry after all is said and done. The cashier is super helpful and I bugged him a few times, when I couldn't find certain items. It's a tiny store, but they do have all the ingredients to get a Thai dinner going.
This is considered a far drive for me, but it was worth the trip. Not like I have much choice around me, but on a positive note, the prices are very reasonable.
I browsed through their little kitchen area, but didn't see anything enticing at the moment. I could see them working away and utilizing every square inch of their cooking space. Maybe, next time, I'll brave up and order something.
