rev:text	I went to Verve for a spa day as a gift from a friend. I got the Gentleman's Package, described as: A Gentleman's Escape This is a perfect indulgence for a gentleman in need of rebalancing mind and body. His journey will begin and end with serenity and encompass wellness throughout. Approximately 3 Hours ($170) Fifty Minute Deep Tissue Massage Scalp Treatment Ritual with Shampoo Gentlemen's Pedicure Haircut The massage was good, though not great. I felt as though the person was going through the motions. As I was leaving, I found out that she was moving, and had just a day or 2 left at Verve. With one foot out the door, I figured she wasn't really concerned about keeping a client coming back. I considered the scope of the event, and can't put a lackluster effort on the place. I was handed off to Jessica. She was very nice, explained everything she was doing and how it would benefit me. She had a great personality and knew the answer to every question I asked. She did a great job on the pedicure. Jessica then took me to a small inset, a dark space that was kind of like being in a cave. She gave me a hot oil treatment and scalp massage that I thought was great. I liked the idea of being in the intimate space, away from the main room. It made it much easier to relax and enjoy. Describing it as a ritual fits the event. I've had my hair cut at many different places. Jessica took her time and paid attention to how my hair falls. My hair is thin, and getting thinner as I get older. One slip has my hair looking weird within a week after getting it cut. She took off just enough to make it look good not just on that day, but for a while after as it grew in. As a cherry on top, about a week later, I got this: Hello Ray, How are you? I always like to check in with my clients after their visit to the salon.
