Date night- anniversary edition! I've been told I need to go to Graze ever since I moved to Madison in 2012. We almost didn't start on a good impression though. Once seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to visit our table, even though it was early dinner hour on a Wednesday night. She apologized once she did arrive and made a comment about how she had forgotten to check her tables. For drinks, I got the strawberry rhubarb sangria, although the rhubarb vanilla lemonade sounded tasty as well. Husband got a standard beer.
We ordered cheese curds and fried pickles as appetizers. The dill dipping sauce for the pickles was okay, but the pickles themselves were pretty good. The cheese curds and the homemade ranch dipping sauce were very good! For a main entree, I ordered the mac with BBQ pork and husband got a burger. I though the mac was great- especially with the real cheese melted over it. The pork was tasty and added a sweet-ish note to the otherwise super cheesy dish.
We definitely left feeling full and I took home my leftovers. Typically not a fan of how leftovers heat up and taste, but the mac and pork was just as good two days later!
I also have to give a thumbs up for the decor and the outdoor seating area. By the time we left, I had nearly forgotten my first impression and would happily come back here for brunch sometime!
