rev:text	I used to really like Terrace Cafe but the food and service has been declining. Our last visit was the last straw. It was a weekday morning so tables were readily available. It took a long time for the host to come back to the stand. That is fine. But the weird part is the two bartenders who were not busy at 10:30am looked at us like we're annoying - like we were interrupting their conversation. Then multiple servers made eye contact with us and walked by. Wouldn't it be normal to say good morning, we will be right with you? I truly felt like I walked into a private function and the dirty looks were to get us to leave. I was so close to leaving and I should have. We were taken upstairs and seated at a 2 top as close to a booth with very young and loud children. Then a table of four with a screaming child from the start was seated next to us. The other table dissolved into full blown on the floor meltdowns. We asked to move to the side of the top where no people were when we were originally seated. We quickly learned the upstairs is the child section as that section then had kids too. It was impossible to finish the crab cake Benedict given the screaming - meltdown screaming. Downstairs, there was not one table with children. Given that the food is mediocre at best, this was just unacceptable. When I asked the host why he would put two adults in the section that was clearly filled with kids, he said it was part of the rotation but did notice the tantrum occurring on the floor. Oh well.
