My friends wanted to do an escape room and found this place online. We are all experienced and this room was enjoyable but could've been better.
Location: We definitely saw the sign but we had walked past the stairs leading up to the door. The stairway leading up was an ominous red, so it already set the mood.
Staff: I will say this two of the staff we encountered were enthusiastic and definitely brightened the mood. However one of the staff made for awkward encounters, though I'm still not sure if it was intentional or not. At one point we had asked a question in regards to a personal concern, and the response was along the lines of "maybe...".
Room: We did Charlotte which was a multi-room 45 minute escape. One of the first things I noticed was there wasn't a visible clock like many of the other rooms I've been to. It might be because it is an attic and there isn't really a lot of wiring up there. I will say it is an intuitive room for the most part but we had to use a hint at one point because that part of the puzzle seemed a bit farfetched to me. I also felt that the puzzles had little to do with the plot and it was just the sake of doing puzzles.
When we escaped I'm not sure if there was confusion due to the large crowds in the waiting room but no one really gave us a debriefing of the room upon exit so there were certain items we were still confused about even though we escaped. Plus there was an additional task of solving the crime that no one even asked us about. We did get to take a photo but it was very chaotic (there were probably 20 people or so in the waiting room when we exited).
I'd come back to try another room because I feel like the potential is there but it is definitely on the pricier side for a 45 minute room at $27 with a $2 discount if you check in on Facebook (plus tax).
