rev:text	To start, we had a reservation on the 23rd. Showed up on the 23rd to find out we mistakenly made it for the 24th. No big deal, we can stay elsewhere for the eve and return the next day. Nope. The high pressure sales staff takes my wife into a private VIP Room (so others can't hear the load of BS they are pedaling) and offer to pay for a room at a neighboring hotel if she agrees to sit through their 2 hour presentation. At that point, she is asked for a credit card. Mistakenly she hands it over (thought it was for our reservation). My wife then thanks for the offer, and declines and says that she can find her own room. As it turns out, her card was used to book a room with out her knowledge. I can't stress this enough ... her card was used with out her consent. When told to fix the situation, both employees exited the room not to return. So we were then forced to argue with hotels.com over the 'nonrefundable' room that had just been booked. That alone is reason enough for no one to stay here. I've never seen an organization so deceitful as the sales team here. Onto the room ... so anyone checking on this place knows in advance that this is not a true resort based on the price. Let's be honest, at $60 per night (yes, they charge a $15 per night 'resort fee') you know not to expect a first class place. However ... I never would have expected it to be as bad as it is. DVD player does not work, the AC is incredibly loud and wakes you up every time it turns on, the room is not cleaned daily (how many resorts are you required to wash your own towels and take your garbage to the dumpster), the water in the bathroom sink smells like septic, there is an airport 1/2 mile from here so you hear planes starting at 6am, the dryer door doesn't close and you must use a broom to keep it closed. The tub area is disgusting. Please see photos. If you're on the fence, DO NOT STAY HERE. You're better off with an air BNB.
