I was visiting from out of town and thought I would see if I could get some cheap tshirts for the grandkids. As I was walking past some shot glasses I noticed a sign that said "You break it you buy it" and wouldn't you know it right then my elbow hit a stack of shot glasses and broke one.
I wasn't very happy and when the guy came to clean up I asked if I really had to buy it and he replied that I did, in a very nasty tone.
I was upset and I said "You've got to be freaking kidding me" and he mocked me and said "YOU'VE got to be freaking kidding me" back, very nasty and sarcastically.
I can understand having that policy but did they have to be so nasty about it? Not a single friendly person in the place. And with so much glass stacked up all over the place I have a feeling this happens often.
I guarantee you I will never set foot in that place again. I mean, accidents happen and they could at least be nice about it.
We went to Fremont street and they have many gift shops there and their prices were much cheaper. Most of them have tshirts for 4 for $10 dollars, not 3 for $10 like at that place. And the people who work there are a lot nicer.
