| - My friend and I racked up enough points from playing all day and found out we could use them at the steak house located in circus circus. We were so excited because we heard good things and the smell that constantly lingered in your nose after walking by was amazing!
We entered the place to hopefully be seated right away. The mananger was standing at the hostess post and asked how he could help us. We went on to say we wanted a table for two. He then followed it up with "well you need to make a reservation ". The place was not busy AT ALL but we agreed to it and made one. He told us the wait would be 45mins. Mind you, we walked in straight from gambling all day so we were not dressed up- far from it actually and we really didn't want to leave to change, so we sat down and waited. The manager kept looking at us as if he wanted us to change and about 15mins later he came up (after realizing we weren't going anywhere) to say he could seat us... this is when the horrible experience begins.
We go around the corner to be seated and noticed only 2-3 tables were active. We sit down and giggled cuz we felt so out of place. The table arrangement was nice, as you can see in one of the photos. There were 2 waiters so we expected everything to run smoothly- we were wrong. Our waiter saw us and continued to service his other table. We sat for a good 30mins just waiting for drinks. I'm thinking this was done puposely to see if we would leave because of our appearance but we stayed cuz we wanted steak. We put our drink order in finally along with our order so we didn't have to wait longer. We got soup, another one of the pics, it looked better than it tasted. Totally not worth it to be honest. When our steaks came, the other pic, we got so excited cuz they looked phenomenal- far from it. We took a bite and looked at each other surprised cuz there was no...flavor...at all! And the potatoes were cold! We took a couple more bites and said screw it. Our waiter didn't check on us until another good 30mins and when he did we voiced our disappointment. He gave us attitude and got the manager. When he cane over we explained to him as well our disappointment and he was shocked that both of us had the same problem and proceeded to ask us to try another bite and we said we did (it was obvious) and then explained that we didn't want anything else. He then was trying to be nice after being kind of a jerk and offered another meal- we got crab legs and rice, they were OK, better than the steak for sure. Either way, this place IS NOT worth the money out of pocket and we will NEVER go back, even with points. The whole experience seemed stereotypical towards us because we were young, in our 30s, have tattoos, and were completely dressed down. They had no idea that we had money, which we did. It was like something out of the movie Selena... don't judge a book by its cover!!
To this day I believe our experience and customer service (or extreme lack of) was the reason behind this.
Sorry steak house, but you were rude and horrible!
