| - I assumed the renovation would be done by the time of our stay, but NOPE. We arrived to workers outside our window and earplugs on the table. The online photos of the rooms showed pictures hung over the beds and on the walls, but these seemed to be missing from our "updated" room. It was super drab and I am surprised so much of the hotel was not yet finished by the time of our stay since everything I read said it would be complete in Spring 2018. Look, it was a fine place to sleep for 3 nights, but definitely was nothing special or anything I would ever recommend. The casino is small, very few shops, and it seemed like there was nowhere to eat past 10pm, including room service. Isn't this VEGAS?
We had the "do not disturb" sign on our door, but our room was entered and cleaned anyway which was annoying. I also booked an offer for Food and Beverage credit. There are hardly any restaurants and most of them were closed every time we wanted to eat. We cancelled Brunch at another hotel and decided to try Primrose with the credit, which turned out to be absolutely lovely. Only problem was the hotel didn't give us the full amount of the credit.
Once home, based on a survey I had taken someone contacted me which I was actually impressed with. They asked for proof of the comp credit amount I booked for. I logged into my Mlife account and sent a screenshot that clearly showed it. They still tried to tell me it wasn't correct but would give me a small courtesy credit for the missing amount. I appreciated it, but I mean the proof was right there.
Bottom line, I would definitely not stay at Park MGM again. Even after they finish whatever they are doing to revamp this place, you can tell it will be nothing special. Aria is my preferred property, so next time I am sure we will be back there.
