| - The below original review was posted 4 years ago and later I decided to remove it after we were contacted by the doctor and I felt the review could be unfair to them. Now I waited 4 years, she is almost 8, I can tell you their recommended intensive invasive surgical procedures were very wrong, eventually both of the teeth that had cavities for 4 years fell off on their own without any complications and issues as she grew up. No fillings nor crown was ever done!
I don't care about this office, but after reading other reviews with similar experiences. I should post my review again as I do care about children should not suffer any unnecessary pain and their parents should not suffer any unnecessary stress!

My original review from March, 2012
I have a 3 years old daughter, first time visited them after we noticed some dark spots on her teeth as we suspected cavity. After the exam, we were told there are cavities and the doctor said its big and bad. Two teeth need drilling and put a crown on them as filling will not hold. Needless to say, we were worry. And she recommended us to get this done soon, we asked if we can try to keep the teeth clean and avoid the surgical procedures. Doctor said no, its not a good idea and won't work. As we walked out, the front desk was very pushy to ask us when we want to set up the appointment, we felt very uncomfortable at that point and decided to go see another dentist for a second opinion. Few days later, we went to a different dentist just few miles away, told him the whole story. He agreed yes there are cavities but its not that bad and its small. Since she is going to lose those two teeth in few years, we can get by just keep brushing it good daily and pay extra attention to make sure they are not getting worst. We felt immediate relieve.
Will the operation recommended by KDC fix the issue? Yes it will. But is it really necessary? I believe not. Will I let my daughter go through the pain? Absolutely not unless I absolutely have no choice.
I believe the doctor's recommendation is based on what they could get the most out of my insurance company. Not based on whats the best for my kid. We will never go back to Kids Dental Center again.
