| - Province is located inside the Westin Phoenix Downtown hotel. I had two meals at Province - lunch the first day and breakfast the second day.
For lunch I sat at the bar and I ordered a spicy tomato soup and the W.P.D. Cobb Salad - which included: Avocado, applewood bacon, cucumber, egg, tomato, blue cheese, house-made ranch dressing, and sliced grilled chicken. The soup was outstanding! I could have drank a gallon of it! The salad was solid - nothing special.
Lunch was greatly marred by the fact that the fire alarm system went off when it was not supposed to. Apparently they were testing the system elsewhere in the hotel - but it went off downstairs. It went on and on and on - until I had a throbbing headache. I was about to get up and walk out - but just then they finally turned it off.
I ended up having to go down some Tylenol with an iced coffee to get rid of the headache. Nice going Westin hotel staff.
The next morning for breakfast - I decided to try the Corned Beef Hash - which features House-made corned beef, poached eggs, topped with a grained mustard hollandaise. Plus coffee, water, and V-8 juice. It was outstanding! Delicious! Yummy!
Service was good.
