  • Went there to get my 20 year old van worked on. Told Dave the service advisor i had $2,000 to spend and he needed to prioritize needed repairs. He stated items necessary ASAP. Also stated the motormounts were in need of repair, but should be good for the next year. They had my van for over 2 weeks. Cost $2,100. Less than 3 weeks later the engine drops and van is dead. Junked. Stupidly, I went to Chapnan thinking I would buy a replacement and there would be some consideration for the damage they caused. They had a SUV listed online for $1,600 that had 64,000 miles. Their sales department is as honest as the service. The SUV had 228,000 miles. A typo they claim?? Bait and switch as after they were aware the 64,000 post was still on their website 30 hour9s later. I asked for both the sales and service managers to call me. Instead a Customer service manager with no empowerment calls. She listens and promises me the other managers would call me "tomorrow". That was 3 days ago. No calls. Posted 9/11, after Chapman review. The power of Yelp... after no response for 4 days I posted the above review on Yelp. Less than an hour later the sales, service, and customer service managers all converged in one office and decided to talk to me. THEY DID NOTHING TO SOLVE OR MEDIATE MY LOSS. The service manager offered to tow the van at their expense to his shop, but would only help with repairs if the problem was what the worked on. I told him the problem was not what he worked on, but what he did not work on. I gave them a $2,000 budget and they were to prioritize work needed. When I picked up the van Dave assured me the van was OK for around a year. Fatal failure a week later. $2,000 DOWN THE TOILET. The sales manager explained the error on mileage happens "all the time". Problem with their software. Instead of making any effort to assist me all he did was make excuses. I even told him (the sales manager) I was looking to purchase a replacement vehicle. You would think he would invite me ib to meet with him and make the extra effort to please me. NOPE, HE DID NOTHING
