About 1 year ago we had abc do some repair on our new truck due to an accident. We use them with the belief they as a dealer would use OEM parts. Check engine just came on and the motor has a rattle and runs poorly. Today discovered they used an after market air filter that was to small. The air filter had a 1/2" gap allowing unfiltered air into the motor. This condition was for more than 10,000 miles. Air will take the path of least resistance so most likely went through the 1/2 inch crack rather than the filter. When I arrived at abc Nissan I asked to speak to the service manager. I was told by a person with no name badge the service was not "here". I showed the person why I was so unhappy. All of the sudden he asked me to wait. Within a minute the service manager appeared. The service manager also had no name tag on, he tried to pawn me off on the collision center. I explained to him the truck has a check engine light on and is covered under the warranty. The service managed continued to try to push this problem onto someone else. I left the truck a asked them to fix it. A few hours later we received a call from ABC and was told our truck was all fixed and that the 10,000 miles of unfiltered air going directly into the motor will have no effect on the life of the motor. Of course my next question is why do they even have air filters on them? Long story short the motor has incurred some damaged from this dealers shop. Only one star review, poor quality work, aftermarket parts, tries to push the problem off on someone else, did not except their mistake and was unwilling to stand behind their work without being pushed. I don't know how we could trust them again.
