| - I was brought here by the 2 for the price of 1 on Mama-san cookies that they had going on one of those Toronto deals websites (can't remember which).
The mama-san cookies are customizable cookies. They have the cookie dough that they add 3 of your choice of toppings on them and bake them right there. It's a very good concept, and their cookies are good but only when it's warm. When it cools down the cookie is very hard and it has a bit of a bitter taste to it. Don't get the moochi topping, it's pretty flavourless and has the consistency of melted caramel, really chewy and does not work well in the cookies.
The customer service at this place was spectacular, probably because one of the owners of the place works here. He's very chatty and extremely friendly. When I presented my coupon, he only had enough dough for 1 cookie and so he offered a free frozen yogurt!
As for the frozen yogurt, it is way over priced at over $5 a cup. That being said, always go for the plain one, I am definitely not a fan of the flavoured ones. The toppings go very well with the frozen yogurt and the fruits are all fresh, which is not something we can say about Yogen Fruz.
Compared to Yogen Fruz this place is amazing, and because of the over-the-top customer service, I'd pop in if I was in the area and feeling for a sweet treat!
