Imagine your selling your home and you need to upgrade the appliances as part of the agreement for closing the sale.
You also live out of state and so of course you get online and order the suite and schedule the delivery date...easy peasy.
Fast forward to the day before actual delivery date and 2 days before closing...and you get a dreaded phone call saying that part of the order is not there and so delivery will not happen for 3 days!
Panic is setting in and the sickness you feel in the pit of your stomach is sure to drive you to an early grave!
What to do? Call customer service... Getting some help but no real resolution. Was given the Steele creek location number and was told they may be able to help figure out what happened.
I had the fortunate blessing of speaking to the assistant manager Latonya! And while she was not able to give me any real answers she was very understanding and helpful in taking extensive notes. She also
Told me to call in the morning to speak with either Tom (store manager) or to Patty ( custom order specialist) and that she (Latonya) would also call them early in the morning to give them the scoop!
I had to get up 4 am my time as we are 3 hours behind and since I did not get much sleep it was not too difficult!
I called and spoke with Tom and he assured me that somehow someway we would have our appliances delivered and installed that day, even if he had to take them out of his stock! Can I just say what a comfort it was to hear that! Even still I just needed to confirm and double check so I called a few hours later and he was at lunch... Feeling the pit come back a bit...then I hear a woman on the line... It's Patty! She gave me the news...my complete order is there and they are sending their people to pick it up to deliver and install!
Can you hear the shouts of joy ! This team rocked and went above and beyond when they could have just left us hanging and possibly losing the sale of our home!
I can't recommend them enough and hope they get rewarded from the district managers and higher ups!
Thanks Latonya, Tom, Patty!
