  • I am so disappointed in Parker and Sons. I really thought they were an honest company until AM PM Plumbing discovered their complete scam. And only a plumber would know. Here is my story. Parker and Sons replaced our hot water heater for $2100! The tech told us that we needed to replace the pump for our recirculating instant hot system too and that it would cost another $800. I said why would I replace something that isn't broken. The pump is fine and has been working. We have never had an issue with it and that I would replace it when it breaks. Coincidentally the next day, we have no instant hot water. So I call our home warranty because I know that particular part is covered. Jeremy from AM PM comes and notices that the intake value installed by Parker and Sons was installed backwards - so of course we have no instant hot water. Jeremy spends 15 minutes putting it back on correctly and guess what? Our pump is fine! Its working. We have instant hot water. Jeremy said the pump is fine. I guess Parker and Sons thought I would call them to come and replace the pump when we didn't have instant hot water but instead they were caught in a big scam and lie! I cannot stand companies and dishonest people who know how to scam innocent homeowners. No one but another plumber would know that it was installed backwards on purpose. Shame on you Parker and Sons! I will be calling tomorrow to cancel my monthly maintenance warranty with you. I'm done with Parker and Sons.
