| - From time to time, for a cheap&quick psychological vacation, I doll up in a suit, tie & cufflinks and stroll the floor of one of our upscale casinos ... like a baller.
Last week, my stroll delivered me a case of bacterial conjunctivitis (ie, pinkeye).
The solution is a doctor's Rx for a short regimen of antibiotic eye drops. Unfortunately, I was not yet established with a Vegas ophthalmologist. Another professional suggested I call New Eyes.
I called at 1pm on a Wednesday. She said - get ready for this - I could have an appointment at 2:15pm that very day. (And don't think this practice isn't busy ... there were no less than eight other patients waiting when I arrived at 2pm.)
She took most of my information on the phone, so that my 'clipboard agenda' when I arrived was pretty durn short.
I had a pretty complete ophthalmological examination, a diagnosis, and an Rx waiting at my pharmacy before 3:30pm.
And given this practice is really more focused on LASIK, surgeries and such, this kind of turnaround time for an un-established patient is just breaktaking!
New Eyes has four strategically-placed branches/locations across the valley.
So no matter where you are, you are there.
